DRIFTED ROOT COMMUNITY REWARD PROGRAM TERMS

Effective Date: September 8, 2026

These DRIFTED ROOT Community Reward Program Terms (“Terms”) govern participation in the DRIFTED ROOT Community Reward Program (“Program”).

The Program is offered by DRIFTED ROOT (“DRIFTED ROOT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) as a way to thank eligible participants who voluntarily share genuine, original Reddit content based on their real experience with a DRIFTED ROOT product.

Participation is voluntary.

DRIFTED ROOT does not require a positive review, favorable recommendation, minimum rating, minimum number of upvotes, comments, views, or any other particular sentiment or level of engagement in order to receive a reward.

By submitting a Reddit post through the Program form, you agree to these Terms.

1. ELIGIBILITY

To participate in the Program, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old;
  • be a legal resident of the United States;
  • have genuinely purchased, received, used, or otherwise personally experienced the DRIFTED ROOT product discussed in your Reddit post;
  • provide a valid email address;
  • submit an original Reddit post that complies with these Terms;
  • comply with Reddit’s applicable rules and the rules of the Reddit community in which you post.

Employees of DRIFTED ROOT, individuals directly involved in administering the Program, and members of their immediate households are not eligible to participate.

Participants who are already being separately compensated by DRIFTED ROOT for the same Reddit post through an affiliate program, creator partnership, sponsorship, paid collaboration, or similar arrangement are not eligible to receive an additional Community Reward for that same post.

2. NO POSITIVE REVIEW REQUIREMENT

DRIFTED ROOT wants participants to share their genuine opinions and experiences.

Your Reddit post may be positive, neutral, critical, or mixed.

Your eligibility for a Community Reward is not determined by:

  • whether you recommend DRIFTED ROOT;
  • whether your experience was positive;
  • whether you praise the product;
  • whether you criticize the product;
  • any star rating or score;
  • the number of upvotes;
  • the number of comments;
  • the number of views;
  • the number of shares;
  • any other measure of popularity or engagement.

DRIFTED ROOT will not ask you to change, remove, soften, or make a truthful negative opinion more favorable in order to receive a reward.

3. QUALIFYING REDDIT CONTENT

To qualify for the Program, a Reddit post must:

  • reflect your genuine experience with a DRIFTED ROOT product;
  • be original content created by you;
  • provide meaningful information, experience, feedback, photographs, styling ideas, product observations, or discussion;
  • be relevant to the Reddit community in which it is posted;
  • comply with Reddit’s sitewide rules;
  • comply with the individual rules of the subreddit or community where it appears;
  • clearly disclose the potential DRIFTED ROOT reward relationship;
  • be publicly accessible when DRIFTED ROOT reviews your submission;
  • not contain materially false, misleading, fabricated, or deceptive statements.

Your post does not need to include a link to driftedroot.com or to a DRIFTED ROOT product page.

A simple advertisement, copied product listing, copied DRIFTED ROOT marketing text, or post created solely to place a commercial link may be considered ineligible.

4. REQUIRED REWARD DISCLOSURE

Because eligible participants may receive a refund, discount, or other benefit from DRIFTED ROOT, the reward relationship must be clearly disclosed in the Reddit post.

We recommend using language such as:

“Disclosure: DRIFTED ROOT offers a reward for eligible honest posts. All opinions are my own.”

You may use different wording as long as it clearly communicates that DRIFTED ROOT offers a reward in connection with eligible participation.

The disclosure should be:

  • easy for readers to notice;
  • written in clear language;
  • included directly with the post;
  • not hidden only in your Reddit profile;
  • not buried behind a link;
  • not intentionally obscured among unrelated text or hashtags.

Failure to clearly disclose the reward relationship may make the submission ineligible.

5. REDDIT COMMUNITY RULES

Participants are responsible for choosing an appropriate Reddit community.

DRIFTED ROOT does not require participants to post in any particular subreddit.

Before posting, you must review and follow the rules of the community where you intend to participate.

If a Reddit community prohibits promotional, incentivized, sponsored, brand-related, or similar content, you should not use that community for this Program.

Participants must not:

  • mass-post identical or substantially identical content across multiple communities;
  • repeatedly post for the primary purpose of obtaining rewards;
  • purchase upvotes, comments, or engagement;
  • organize or coordinate voting;
  • ask others to artificially upvote or promote a post;
  • use multiple accounts to manipulate engagement;
  • use bots or automated accounts to increase exposure;
  • send unsolicited mass private messages;
  • otherwise engage in spam or manipulation.

Reddit currently treats repeated or unsolicited mass posting for exposure or financial gain as potential spam.

6. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

To participate:

  1. Create an eligible Reddit post in accordance with these Terms.
  2. Include a clear disclosure of the DRIFTED ROOT reward relationship.
  3. Submit your Reddit post URL through the official DRIFTED ROOT Community Reward submission form.
  4. Provide the requested contact and verification information.
  5. If you have an eligible driftedroot.com order that you wish to use for the 20% refund reward, enter the applicable driftedroot.com order number in the optional order-number field.
  6. Submit the completed form for review.

Submitting a form does not automatically guarantee approval or a reward.

DRIFTED ROOT will review the submission for eligibility.

7. HOW YOUR REWARD IS DETERMINED

The type of reward for an approved submission is determined primarily by whether you submit a valid, qualifying driftedroot.com order number.

A. Valid Qualifying driftedroot.com Order Number Submitted

If you submit a valid qualifying driftedroot.com order number and your Reddit submission is approved, you will receive:

20% back on the eligible merchandise amount actually paid on that qualifying driftedroot.com order.

The reward will generally be processed as a partial refund.

B. No driftedroot.com Order Number Submitted

If you leave the driftedroot.com order-number field blank and your Reddit submission is approved, you will receive:

a one-time 20% discount code for a future order at driftedroot.com.

C. Submitted Order Number Is Not Eligible

If you submit a driftedroot.com order number that cannot be verified or does not qualify for the 20% refund, but your Reddit post otherwise satisfies all Program requirements, DRIFTED ROOT may instead issue the standard one-time 20% off driftedroot.com discount code.

Submitting an invalid, canceled, fully refunded, fraudulent, or otherwise ineligible order number does not create eligibility for a cash or order refund.

8. QUALIFYING driftedroot.com ORDERS

To qualify for the 20% website-order refund, the submitted driftedroot.com order must:

  • have been placed directly through driftedroot.com;
  • have been placed within 60 days before the Community Reward submission date;
  • contain an eligible DRIFTED ROOT merchandise item;
  • be verifiable using the submitted order number and associated order information;
  • not have been fully canceled;
  • not have been fully refunded;
  • not be subject to a chargeback or active payment dispute;
  • not previously have received a Community Reward under this Program.

Only one Community Reward may be applied to a qualifying driftedroot.com order.

9. 20% WEBSITE ORDER REFUND CALCULATION

For an approved submission with a qualifying driftedroot.com order, the Community Reward equals:

20% of the eligible merchandise amount actually paid after discounts.

The refund calculation excludes:

  • sales tax;
  • shipping charges;
  • gift cards;
  • gift card purchases;
  • canceled merchandise;
  • amounts already refunded;
  • non-merchandise charges;
  • any amount that the customer did not actually pay.

Example

If eligible merchandise originally costs $54.99 and a previous discount reduces the merchandise amount actually paid to $49.49:

Community Reward = $49.49 × 20% = $9.90

The reward is not calculated from the original pre-discount price.

10. PROCESSING OF WEBSITE REFUNDS

Approved website-order rewards will generally be issued as a partial refund to the original payment method associated with the qualifying driftedroot.com order, where technically available.

After DRIFTED ROOT processes the refund, additional processing time may be required by your bank, payment provider, or card issuer before the refund appears in your account.

The timing of the financial institution’s processing is outside DRIFTED ROOT’s control.

DRIFTED ROOT’s current website refund policy states that approved refunds are generally processed to the original payment method.

11. RETURNS AFTER RECEIVING A COMMUNITY REWARD

Receiving a Community Reward does not extend or replace the DRIFTED ROOT Return Policy.

If merchandise associated with a Community Reward is subsequently returned, canceled, disputed, or otherwise refunded, any Community Reward already issued for that merchandise will be treated as part of the total refund already provided for that order.

The combined amount of all refunds and Community Rewards relating to an order will not exceed the amount originally paid for that order.

Example

If the eligible merchandise amount actually paid was $100 and DRIFTED ROOT already issued a $20 Community Reward:

If the merchandise later qualifies for a full return, the previously issued $20 Community Reward will be taken into account when calculating the remaining amount refundable.

The Community Reward does not create an entitlement to receive more than the total amount originally paid.

12. 20% DISCOUNT CODE TERMS

If your approved submission qualifies for the website discount rather than the website-order refund, DRIFTED ROOT will provide a one-time 20% off code for a future purchase at driftedroot.com.

Unless otherwise stated when the code is issued, the code:

  • is valid for 60 days from the date of issuance;
  • may be used one time;
  • is intended for the approved participant;
  • cannot be redeemed for cash;
  • cannot be applied retroactively to an existing or previous order;
  • cannot be combined with another discount code unless DRIFTED ROOT expressly allows it;
  • does not apply to gift cards;
  • does not reduce taxes or shipping charges unless specifically stated;
  • may be subject to product exclusions identified by DRIFTED ROOT.

Lost, deleted, or expired codes may not necessarily be replaced.

13. REVIEW PROCESS

DRIFTED ROOT will review submitted information, which may include:

  • the Reddit post;
  • the Reddit post URL;
  • the disclosure contained in the post;
  • the submitted email address;
  • any submitted driftedroot.com order number;
  • order information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility;
  • previous participation in the Program.

Most submissions are expected to be reviewed within approximately 5–7 business days.

Review may take longer if additional verification is reasonably required.

DRIFTED ROOT may contact you using the email address submitted through the form.

A submission is not approved until DRIFTED ROOT confirms approval.

14. POST AVAILABILITY

Your Reddit post must be publicly accessible when DRIFTED ROOT reviews your submission.

If the post has already been deleted, removed, made inaccessible, or otherwise cannot reasonably be reviewed, the submission may be considered ineligible.

However, if an eligible Reddit post is removed by Reddit or a community moderator after DRIFTED ROOT has already approved the reward, you will not be required to repost the content solely to preserve an already-approved reward.

DRIFTED ROOT may deny or revoke a reward if there is reasonable evidence that a participant intentionally deleted, duplicated, manipulated, or reposted content for the purpose of obtaining multiple rewards.

15. REWARD LIMITS

Unless DRIFTED ROOT expressly states otherwise:

  • each Reddit post may receive only one Community Reward;
  • each qualifying driftedroot.com order may receive only one Community Reward;
  • substantially identical or duplicate Reddit posts do not create additional reward eligibility;
  • each individual or household may receive no more than two Community Rewards during any rolling 12-month period.

Creating additional Reddit accounts, email addresses, customer accounts, identities, or other mechanisms to evade these limits may result in disqualification.

16. DUPLICATE, FRAUDULENT, OR ABUSIVE SUBMISSIONS

DRIFTED ROOT may reject a submission where there is reasonable evidence of:

  • a fabricated product experience;
  • false purchase information;
  • an invalid or stolen order number;
  • impersonation of another customer;
  • duplicate submissions;
  • repeated submission of the same Reddit post;
  • artificially generated engagement;
  • purchased upvotes or comments;
  • coordinated voting;
  • multiple-account manipulation;
  • automated or bot-generated spam;
  • attempts to receive multiple rewards for the same qualifying activity;
  • other fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive conduct.

A submission will not be rejected merely because the participant expresses a negative, critical, or unfavorable genuine opinion about DRIFTED ROOT or its products.

17. NO PURCHASE FROM DRIFTEDROOT.COM REQUIRED FOR THE 20% DISCOUNT REWARD

A purchase from driftedroot.com is not required to qualify for the 20% future-order discount reward.

Participants who genuinely purchased, received, used, or experienced a DRIFTED ROOT product obtained through another retailer, marketplace, or as a gift may participate, provided that all other Program requirements are satisfied.

However, only a valid qualifying order placed directly through driftedroot.com is eligible for the 20% website-order refund.

18. GENUINE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

You may only discuss experiences that you actually had.

You may not:

  • claim to own or use a DRIFTED ROOT product that you have never used or experienced;
  • fabricate product characteristics;
  • invent a purchase;
  • falsely claim that an image shows your bathroom or product;
  • copy another consumer’s experience and present it as your own.

DRIFTED ROOT may request reasonable additional information where necessary to verify Program eligibility.

FTC rules prohibit businesses from buying or procuring fake reviews and testimonials, including content from someone who did not actually have the represented experience with the product.

19. NO REQUIREMENT TO INCLUDE A LINK

Participants are not required to include:

  • a driftedroot.com link;
  • a product-page link;
  • a promotional code;
  • a purchase call-to-action.

Participants should focus on sharing meaningful, authentic content appropriate for the Reddit community in which they participate.

Whether links are permitted is also subject to the rules of the applicable Reddit community.

20. CONTENT OWNERSHIP

You retain ownership of the original text, photographs, videos, and other content you create and publish on Reddit.

Submitting a Reddit post URL through this Program does not, by itself:

  • transfer ownership of your content to DRIFTED ROOT;
  • grant DRIFTED ROOT an unrestricted advertising license;
  • authorize DRIFTED ROOT to use your photographs in paid advertisements;
  • authorize DRIFTED ROOT to substantially alter your statements.

If DRIFTED ROOT would like to feature your content in advertising, email marketing, its website, social media, or other commercial materials beyond ordinary Program administration, DRIFTED ROOT may contact you separately to request permission.

21. PRIVACY

Information submitted through the Program may be used to:

  • administer the Program;
  • review submissions;
  • verify website orders;
  • determine reward eligibility;
  • process refunds;
  • issue discount codes;
  • detect duplicate or fraudulent participation;
  • communicate with participants;
  • maintain Program records.

Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with the DRIFTED ROOT Privacy Policy.

Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information such as:

  • full payment card numbers;
  • bank account credentials;
  • passwords;
  • Social Security numbers.

22. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

By submitting the Community Reward form, you agree that DRIFTED ROOT may email you as reasonably necessary to:

  • acknowledge your submission;
  • request eligibility information;
  • communicate approval or rejection;
  • provide the applicable reward;
  • resolve questions concerning the Program.

Submitting the Program form does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive unrelated marketing emails unless you separately opt in to marketing communications.

23. PROGRAM CHANGES OR TERMINATION

DRIFTED ROOT may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Program prospectively at any time, including changes to:

  • reward amounts;
  • eligibility requirements;
  • Program limits;
  • review procedures;
  • participating products;
  • Program duration.

Any material changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.

A reward already approved before a Program change will remain subject to the terms applicable when it was approved.

24. PROGRAM AVAILABILITY

The Program is available only while offered by DRIFTED ROOT and may not be available in every jurisdiction.

DRIFTED ROOT may limit or suspend participation where operation of the Program would violate applicable law, platform rules, or other legal requirements.

25. RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER DRIFTED ROOT POLICIES

These Community Reward Terms supplement applicable DRIFTED ROOT policies, including the:

  • Terms of Service;
  • Privacy Policy;
  • Return Policy;
  • Shipping Policy.

Nothing in this Program is intended to reduce any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

If there is a conflict between these Community Reward Terms and another DRIFTED ROOT policy regarding administration of this specific Program, these Community Reward Terms control only with respect to the Program, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

26. REDDIT DISCLAIMER AND RELEASE

This Program is operated solely by DRIFTED ROOT and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Reddit, Inc.

Reddit does not administer the Program, select participants, approve submissions, issue rewards, or provide customer service for the Program.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by participating in the Program, you release Reddit, Inc. and its affiliates from claims, liabilities, losses, costs, or damages arising out of or relating to your participation in the Program.

Questions regarding the Program should be directed to DRIFTED ROOT, not Reddit.

This disclaimer and release reflects Reddit’s current published requirements for promotions conducted using its platform.

27. LIMITATION REGARDING REDDIT MODERATION

DRIFTED ROOT does not control Reddit or individual subreddit moderators.

DRIFTED ROOT cannot guarantee that:

  • any particular subreddit will permit your post;
  • your Reddit post will remain published;
  • moderators will approve your post;
  • Reddit will not remove or restrict content;
  • other Reddit users will respond positively to your post.

Participants should not contact or pressure moderators on behalf of DRIFTED ROOT.

29. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By submitting a Reddit post through the DRIFTED ROOT Community Reward Program form, you acknowledge that:

  • you have read these Terms;
  • you understand the applicable reward rules;
  • the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
  • your Reddit post reflects your genuine experience;
  • you have disclosed the potential reward relationship;
  • you agree to comply with these Terms.
