How do I care for my shower curtains?

All of our shower curtains are accompanied by a care guide card, and specific instructions can also be found on the care label sewn onto your Drifted Root shower curtains.

Are your shower curtains water-resistant? Do I still need a liner?

Our shower curtains are designed with water-repellent fabrics so that water beads on the surface and dries quickly after each shower. For sets that include a liner, the liner provides an extra barrier to keep splashes inside the tub. For standalone curtains, we recommend pairing them with a separate liner if you want maximum protection for your bathroom floor.

What materials are Drifted Root shower curtains made of?

Most Drifted Root shower curtains are made from soft, durable polyester fabric that is easy to care for and designed for everyday use. We also offer select designs in cotton or blended fabrics. You can always check the “Fabric” or “Materials” section on each product page for exact details.

Will my shower curtains shrink, and will they continue to fit my bathroom after laundering?

All fabric will shrink to some extent, but we anticipate this by cutting our items to allow for shrinkage. Many of our shower curtains are woven on extra-wide looms, which allows us to create wider shower curtains and longer fitted bathroom.

Do your products come with hooks or a liner?

It depends on the specific item:
“Shower Curtain” usually refers to the outer curtain only.
“Shower Curtain Set” typically includes the curtain plus a matching liner and/or hooks.
“Bathroom Set” often includes a curtain and coordinated accessories, such as bath mats.
Please refer to the “What’s included” or description section on each product page to see exactly what comes with your purchase.

Are Drifted Root shower curtains machine-washable?

Yes. Unless otherwise noted on the product page, our fabric shower curtains and liners are machine-washable. We recommend:
Gentle cycle with cold or warm water
Mild detergent, no bleach
Remove the liner (for hookless sets with snap-on liners), then wash curtain and liner together or separately
Hang to dry or tumble dry on low, then rehang promptly to minimize wrinkles
Always follow care instructions on the sewn-in label or the product page for best results.

How can I keep my shower curtain fresh for longer?

A few simple habits can help keep your curtain fresh:
After each shower, gently spread the curtain and liner open so they can dry quickly
Turn on your bathroom fan or open a window to improve airflow
Wash the curtain and liner regularly according to the care instructions
Wipe down the bottom hem occasionally if your shower area has heavy water buildup
Quick drying and good ventilation can help reduce moisture buildup in everyday use.

Which size shower curtain should I choose?

Most standard bathtubs work well with a 72" wide x 72" long curtain. If you have higher ceilings, a taller rod, or a walk-in shower, you may prefer longer options such as 72" x 78", 72" x 84", or beyond.
To choose the best length:
Measure from the top of your shower rod down to where you’d like the curtain to end.
Subtract about 1–2" so the curtain doesn’t drag on the floor.
Pick the available length closest to that measurement.

What is a “hookless” shower curtain and how does it work?

A hookless shower curtain comes with built-in rings or openings at the top, so you don’t need separate shower hooks. The rings glide directly onto your existing shower rod for fast, clean installation and a modern, streamlined look. Many of our hookless designs also include snap-on liners and a mesh or clear top window for extra light and airflow.

Will your hookless curtains fit my existing shower rod?

Our hookless curtains are designed to fit most standard straight or curved shower rods in U.S. bathrooms. If your rod is an unusual shape or size, just check the width listed on the product page and compare it to your rod span for the best fit.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Once shipped, delivery usually takes about 2–5 business days, depending on your location and carrier. The estimated delivery window shown on each product page is a good reference, but actual times may vary based on carrier conditions.
