At first it seemed like a shower curtain with no liner. The liner is there, but just needed to be pulled apart. The curtain and liner does not need separate shower curtain rinngs. It cmes with a section to go over the shower curtain rod. I've used it for a week. The "hooks" for lack of a better term, does not get stuck like my old metal and plastic shower curtain hooks did. After showering, it's easy to shake excess water off the crtain. No need to go after water droplets with a rag.
